Why the air space should arise directly above the dining table is not clear to me. It serves no purpose for sitting comfortably at the table.
Then I must have presented that a bit incorrectly. The air space is only to be created in the entrance area. Basically the first 2 meters upon entry and then with a railing to the hallway on the upper floor. Do you think there will also be a big echo there? Between the hallway and dining table we would probably want to add a floor-to-ceiling door. Exactly for the problem that, if necessary, noise from the living room/kitchen can be prevented from going “upstairs.”
The idea of a counter in the kitchen I basically find OK. In the drawn arrangement a larger area arises in the corner. What would happen with it?
We would like a terrace on the right side. So that you can still have the west sun here after work and it is somewhat more sheltered from the wind here. I thought one would then need a corresponding width as a passage. Do you think that is too much?
So platform or 2/4-turn with the roof slope, thus completely contrary to your straight stairs. But it may also stem from the fact that I can’t stand this floor plan shape any longer.
So straight stairs are not a must. We could also get along with 1/4-turn or something like that. Would that give us many more options?
Do the situation at the exit a favor by giving the house more depth. Is the ridge direction fixed like that, or may it be perpendicular to the house axis?
Ridge direction is not fixed. Due to the desire to have at least 6 m of garden to the south, we would prefer not to have more depth in the house. I consider 6 m already very narrow, or can one also work with less here?
