What is this dull accusation of misogyny supposed to mean? I talked to the OP and not about his wife. It is he who does not want to "work himself to death" (free quote, search too time-consuming) and dreams of a sabbatical and would rather reduce the size of the children's room instead of the office. A sabbatical hardly serves the quality of child-rearing either; 90% over 10 years would relieve his wife significantly more and additionally mean more lasting usable time with the children.

It was an example of work that has always existed, but as paid labor is relatively new. To show that the division into such work and such work does not qualify the term "work-shy."
I directly accused you of making this distinction anyway. That was the central point.

On the other hand, I did not even vaguely imply misogyny. I usually write without subtext. What I mean is what I explicitly write.

Maybe there will also be a quiet moment for you in which you see this conversation less as an attack and more as feedback (you said you like it direct and that you like to think outside the box). The intention is to raise awareness, not to argue. If it doesn’t hurt you, but perhaps does others, it might be possible to omit statements like “lazy” now and then. I don’t think these statements were necessary towards the OP, I don’t know if you hurt him with it. Others certainly are, and that is why it is pointed out.
