Fiber optic connection is being installed - use existing multi-utility infrastructure?

Yes, of course, and what speaks against sealing it correctly? The house entry must be sealed anyway when they drill a hole in the wall for the cable. Sealing the multi-service line, which is one meter away from the house, should also be easier to seal than a hole directly in the house. As you wrote, there are special seals for that. The topic is up for discussion with us as well. And for me it is quite clear that they go through the multi-service line. Otherwise, they just won’t install fiber optic.

Nothing speaks against it if you find a craftsman who does it.
And that brings us full circle.
Have a nice evening.

With me, DG would have used the multi-branch if I had laid the small empty conduit and they only had to blow through the fiber. After I saw how DG sometimes left streets and so on here and was able to watch the paving artists up close at work (from the office window), I lost confidence in their work quality and besides, I had a second alternative FTTH connection installed. Water, electricity, the piping for my geothermal drilling, and fiber were already there; the risk of damage by DG was too high for me. And in case of an emergency, I did not want to deal with their certainly not small legal department...

We have now had the copper cable (Telekom) installed through the multifunctional duct. If we ever get fiber optic (in the year 20xx), can it be installed through the same multifunctional duct or will the copper cable be removed and replaced with the fiber optic connection?

I don't think the latter. It wouldn't matter to us anyway, since our Telekom house connection is located in the garage and no one knows where it runs ;)

That would be the question. For us, Telekom, electricity, sewage/water connections run from the beginning of the property to the house. Now power cables still need to be laid for the gate and the door. How is the garden landscaper (who digs; the electrician lays the cables) supposed to know where which cables were laid? Sewage/water shouldn't be the problem since they are laid deeper. But electricity and Telekom cables... Do you get a drawing showing where which cables were laid?
