Making fire in swim shorts and after a proper bath enjoying a nice pizza from your own oven. A man can hardly experience more happiness.

You can also light an ethanol fireplace for the flickering. And for the crackling, just play the appropriate CD or Alexa skill :-P

I've seen a fake oven in a restaurant once. Built like a normal wood oven but the glass pane was a display showing only the flame effect. It looked deceptively real

Hello everyone,

our shell construction is now up and from the very beginning we basically had a stove mason plan for a wood-burning stove to be built in.
A short summary of the conditions:

The stove will be located in the dining room / kitchen (40 sqm), and there is a double door from the dining room to the living room (another 20 sqm).
KFW 55 house, 42 cm solid brick, controlled residential ventilation.

After looking into it more closely, we think that such a 7 kW stove without fireclay (i.e. without storage) made of Ytong might
not be the right choice, because it could get too hot in the rooms.

We now have a different offer for a stove made of HSM stone with fireclay, 8 kW, but with a breakthrough into the wall to the living room, so that this
can also be heated by opening the wall flaps.

That is of course now the Ferrari among stoves.

Alternatively, as a middle ground, there is still the option to install a Camina S9 storage stove kit, which is not built-in masonry but is said to be able to store heat and would also allow a breakthrough into the living room.
It also has 7 kW and is called storage concrete.

Does anyone know well, will I suffocate with the cheaper stove, is such a fireclay stone indispensable so that the room does not overheat quickly, which we definitely want to avoid!

Of course I want to save money, but it’s no good if I don’t turn on the stove because everything overheats.
