Good evening everyone,
my husband and I have been discussing for a while now which facade color our house should have. It is a single-story house with a (converted) gable roof, with the eaves side facing the street. The options are:
1. "Standard new build color combo": roof, windows (and front door) anthracite, facade white
2. roof anthracite, windows (and front door) white, facade gray. More or less like in the example picture (found on the Pinterest page of Contract Vario)
I have identified the following advantages for both variants:
1: More high-quality appearance?
Standard look, generally considered nicer? - Resale value higher?
Dark front door less prone to dirt
2: Cheaper (white windows cost us about 20% less)
Facade does not get dirty as quickly?
Windows do not heat up as much (cracking/popping – we had that in our last house with dark windows)
More striking look
What is your opinion?
