With that, you are cheaper in ongoing operation with an annual performance factor of 2.5. Actually even somewhat better, since about 10% goes up the chimney with gas. You could probably even achieve 2.5 in many unrenovated old buildings, after all, a larger part of the heating period is in the transitional season.
