Hello everyone!
The first hurdle has been placed in our way: In our temporary accommodation where we want to live during the construction phase, there is no DSL connection for us.
In the region, a provider has expanded (Inexio, formerly Quix), where I was able to order broadband - but I have now received an order confirmation stating that the technology at our connection address is not yet expanded and they cannot give us a connection date.
I love that - selling connections and then having no capacities. Dialogue with support revealed - at the address where we are connected, the KVZ is full, they would have to expand there first, whether and when that will happen is unclear.
Via Telekom we get 2Mbit down, which is not enough to work.
Now we have 2 options: Gigacube from Vodafone or similar (are there any other providers?), or Starlink.
Edit: Fortunately, there is LTE at the address.
Starlink naturally has high initial costs. And their website provides very little information, considering you have to agree with 2 clicks that they can charge the 700€.
Does anyone of you have Starlink (or Gigacube) and can share their experience?
Best regards,
Kati
