I can only agree, our plumber even asked on his own whether the toilet should be a bit higher. During the construction phase, you just must not miss the moment. I wouldn't trust that it will be done just because it was mentioned once in a preliminary discussion...
Ok, then that goes into the service catalog. I found a DIN somewhere on Google that regulates the connections at a 42 cm seat height. Then we will ignore that.
The DIN height is no longer up-to-date and is too low for almost everyone. Higher is only slightly worse for small children. But eventually, everyone grows taller.
We have 48cm.
As already mentioned, the height can be set once during construction. Lowering it later is not so easy, after all, the entire toilet hangs on the threaded rod and it should easily hold a person hanging without breaking (the moments are tremendous!).
