Since we need to slowly decide on a toilet, I am grateful for first-hand reports.

Then you kind of have a "random bidet."

after I spent hours on the phone today, Villeroy & Boch is off the table. Their apron was double-edged, on the one hand safety against splashes while washing, but also a small edge that somehow needs to be cleaned, you have to get underneath it. A knockout criterion was that to achieve the specified water consumption, we need a special flush tank. So that the whole system works. But the 4 Geberit frames/tanks are already installed. And, our little one wants a toilet seat with a 3D shark. According to Villeroy & Boch, no universal seats can be used, only theirs... I'm now just wavering between Duravit and Keramag, Duravit is probably the most economical in terms of water consumption. But I still have to clarify the shape or be sure that the shark fits...

I would also be interested to know if there are rimless toilets with standard lids at all...[0815-Deckel].

According to our sanitary seller, the universal ones are not available for all rimless toilets.

But we didn't care. We decided on the "traditional" variant.

Whether with or without a rim, both types need to be cleaned.
