oh yes, bauknecht is actually whirlpool. I can't say anything about Whirlpool. But Electrolux can build very high-quality appliances. They are in no way inferior to BSH. but yes, the range also goes very low (but that's also the case with BSH).

The higher-end dishwashers are often BSH as well... My Diskad is from Bosch.

I know from fully integrated machines that they need to have a certain opening angle in order to work with the plinth without adjustments (Ikea has very low plinths and thus larger areas for drawers etc.). Otherwise, depending on the device, there are actually sliding hinges or similar extras from Ikea.

The keyword is "XXL dishwasher with Vario hinge" This is available, for example, from BSH but also from most other manufacturers. The front must be shifted slightly when opening so that it does not collide with the plinth.

It doesn't have a handle, but a recessed handle. And otherwise everything was done according to the instructions. At knee height, a handle otherwise makes little sense, as you write.

So far, nothing needed to be readjusted in the kitchens in the "Kinderapartments" – at least nothing from what the guys installed properly. When it comes to major kitchen appliances, the requirements play a role. Those who want an oven that has a fairly constant temperature control and does not fluctuate by 10 degrees, who want an induction cooktop that does not pulse at low power and generally relies on technical design (not necessarily a variety of functions), will only find such devices at IKEA by luck. Those who say, I have not noticed this until today and I have never missed it either, get reliable "white goods" at IKEA.
