Hello everyone,

after several inquiries and offers, I have my "most cost-effective" offer from my point of view (see data below). I am still unsure about the "necessity" of the storage. I think there is no clear "yes" or "no" here. What are your experiences based on everything known so far – is the amortization of the storage guaranteed during the warranty period? I think the storage will neither make you poor nor rich, but now you can make the most sensible decision. How do you evaluate the offer and the components in general? Does anyone perhaps have a comparable system and experience?

Photovoltaic system 11.9kWp with 9.6kWh storage

Total price just under €24,500

many greetings

In general, you can already find quite a lot of information. You get more specific information if you tell something about yourself and your house. So how is the consumption, more during the day or mainly at night?

Hello RotorMotor, Info about floor plans, elevations etc. can be found in post 109: Regarding consumptions, I think the "standard" electricity consumers who run continuously (freezer chest, 2x fridge etc.). In addition, at least one of us does a lot of HO, so consumption during "normal" working hours in the daytime. In the evenings I can mention the sauna and sometimes some TV; otherwise we will sleep 98% of the time at night (working time starts around 6:30-7:00 am and usually we do laundry during the day and also cook at normal meal times ;-))

Then a storage is pretty much not worth it, at least not such a large one.

Where do you save if you leave it out, and where if you halve the size?

Unfortunately, the offer is flat rate, I would have to request it. Especially when it is no longer light for so long, electricity will surely still be consumed until 10 pm, is that not sufficient from your perspective? Best regards

In order for a storage system to be worthwhile, it should be fully charged and discharged every day. If this only happens now during the transition period, it is quite likely not worthwhile. How much electricity do you use in the evenings? It can easily be read from the meter during that time.
