And here we go.

Electrical installation was completed (what a nice feeling when the blinds go down), the kitchen is in and the parquet is currently being laid, yesterday about 70% was already done. Doors will arrive in the third week of September. Progress is being made.

Doors+frames were installed, great what a difference it makes, huge difference.

have been in for two weeks. Small cosmetic repairs, but it’s getting more and more homely ;)

We have now built a 5x3.5 meter terrace out of concrete pavers ourselves at the front facing the garden. Dug out the soil, set the curbstones, considered the slope, poured a concrete foundation for the stairs at the height of the curbstones, put in 40 cm of gravel and compacted it, laid the slabs in grit and filled the joints with sand. On top are now the self-built and varnished pallet furniture ;)

In 8-10 weeks, the local window company will install insect screen doors for the large lift-and-slide door, and replace the 6 basement windows. (Metal out, double-glazed plastic windows in. Glass was broken, sealing was ruined)

This summer, only smaller jobs remain. Sieve the excavated soil and haul the rest away, repaint the garden gate and save money..
