Caspar, that's the irony up here. I just pointed out to the OP with a smirking tone that he will be living in a mixed-use area, which is not bad. Most commercial businesses are quite quiet nowadays. By the way. Our old [REH] was near the harbor and train station. It didn't cause any disturbance. Karsten

Regarding the construction service description or contract for work, I am unsure whether I am allowed to publish it, but I would like to get someone else’s opinion on it. How can I best go about that?

They are certainly not too expensive. Does it have to be kfw 40'? Insurances could be a bit cheaper. Otherwise, good prices. Karsten

Well, for Kfw40 there is then again a €5000 repayment subsidy from the KfW, and for a €500 surcharge I actually like to take it along.

I lack details:
How many circuits, two-way switches, sockets, etc. does the electrical work include?
What kind of staircase is it?
Sanitary fixtures?
Tile installations... corner moldings, baseboards?
And so on... It involves some additional special costs.
But that can be found elsewhere as well.
However, in my opinion, you will not make yourself happy with the very first plot of land, which on paper rather resembles a nightmare.

Take your time, inform yourselves, buy magazines, browse the forum!
Visit show homes.
Calculate your payment considering a desire to have children.
There is no rush for you anyway, there are still more plots in Saxony than elsewhere.

For tiles and floors, you can ask for more than twice as much. For the [inkl. Preis], there is only the lowest hardware store standard.
