Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions...

We ourselves still find the window topic too wild and the many different sizes make it look very restless. At that point, we will certainly want to make improvements again.

Regarding the kitchen/living room swap, it is very important to my wife to have the kitchen at the top of the plan or towards the street. One idea we want to revisit is moving the study to the basement to have more space on the ground floor. But I agree with you, it would have a certain charm to stand at the entrance door and then be able to look through the kitchen into the garden. The short distances between the kitchen and the garage would be another advantage. We would lose the freestanding kitchen island measuring 3 meters at a width of 4.31 m.

We are currently waiting for the final cost calculation ourselves, so at the moment we cannot give you exact € figures.

Indeed, we have given little thought to how the all-purpose room appears. The top priority was not to waste too much space on it. To enhance the room, the idea has now come up to install a left-turning open concrete staircase in a folded structure design with a railing for the children.

The living room sofa + dining room approximately correspond to the real furnishings. A couch ottoman with the dimensions of 90 cm x 90 cm is missing.

Great idea with the half-height wall and the glass panel; we will definitely want to discuss that with our general contractor at the next appointment.

What exactly do you mean by that?

I would have placed the living room upstairs because I think that, from a purely floor plan perspective, the kitchen is more suitably located near the dining area. For me, the living room would be somewhat more separated than the kitchen. Additionally, the kitchen would then be directly adjacent to the terrace (less walking distance in summer).

The interior walls are supposedly solidly built and are largely within the standard dimensions, but what should I imagine under the 40 cm exterior wall? The kitchen bay "displeases" me more than the window arrangement, which should probably be easily fixable.

Shower exit not past the window, but along the interior wall, so that no one can look,

We were told that to comply with KfW55, 40 cm aerated concrete blocks in combination with a ventilation system + air-to-water heat pump are necessary. The interior walls are to be built with sand-lime bricks.

Visually from the outside, it is also more to be seen as a compromise. The extension would be great for the kitchen but is not needed on the upper floor.
