Door House/Garage: Side entrance door as a fire protection door?

Hello!

We are building our garage directly attached to the house – at least that is the plan for later; for now, there is only the house.

Our front door has a triple locking system with an automatic lock (RC1). All windows are also RC1.

However, the door to the garage is currently only a "normal" steel fire door with a warded lock and single locking. Therefore, I wanted to have a proper side entrance door there with the same lock as the front door.

But it seems they don’t make fire doors like that..
1) Is a fire door or a smoke-tight door (T30) really necessary there?
2) Does anyone know T30 doors with proper (at least triple) locking (automatic lock installable) and an acceptable U-value?

Regarding 1: Depending on the state building code, but generally an FH30 door is apparently required (fire-retardant yes, but smoke-tight not necessarily). Regarding 2: Both Teckentrup and Hörmann have such items in their catalogs and presumably there are more. Just ask the person from whom you get your windows and front door if they can offer you something (please report back here with specific models and prices!).

I have now found out that the steel doors with single locking are not so bad after all. Apparently, the solidity of the door is sufficient. At least there are suppliers that can achieve RC2 with them.

Therefore, I am considering a "normal" T30 with a motor cylinder.

PS: The one who sells me the "normal" doors told me that the side entrance door would be sufficient. Only the site manager has raised concerns but is now clarifying that as well.

We have meanwhile decided on a steel door T30 in RC2 design with a continuous seal.

We want the same lock for the front door and the side entrance door, so we will then order matching locking cylinders for both doors.

But then without the possibility of automatic opening/locking, right?
