Does the large Ikea Pax with sliding doors fit in my room?

I hope you can help me here, as I unfortunately can't get any further at the hotline.

I want to buy a Pax sliding door wardrobe. The model with the height of 236cm.

According to the assembly instructions, the room should be 240cm or rather more.

Unfortunately, I only have 238.5 cm at the lowest point and just under 240 cm at the highest point.

The carcass can also be set up while standing, so it should actually be possible. But are the sliding doors still hangable then?? :confused: :confused: That is my big problem!!!!

Hey, well with "normal" doors it works.. and it looks super stylish when there's just a little bit of space left to the ceiling. But I don't know much about sliding doors..

Hej, the problem is really just the sliding doors, you need 240 cm for that. The rails of the doors are mounted on the top and bottom of the corpus, which takes away about 2 cm, hanging the sliding doors becomes a problem because you have to hang them a bit crooked from the top. Ikea really has many and beautiful hinged doors, over 80 different handles! Unfortunately, sliding doors won't work for you. Best regards

I just had another thought!

Is it possible to slide the sliding doors in from the side on an assembled cabinet instead of hanging them from above? I assume that the end stops on the left and right for the sliding doors are removable.

Could that possibly be a solution?????
