Hello Michael,

I didn’t understand at first either about sliding the doors in sideways.

So... you don’t have one complete rail for the top and bottom on your wardrobe, but several parts of the rail along the entire length of the wardrobe.
Now, first you screw on one rail, slide both doors sideways onto this one rail, and only then screw on the next rail.
Then you don’t need any space next to the wardrobe.
Hope that was understandable so far.

That’s true, of course, if you set up a 3 m wardrobe, then it’s no problem because you have 2 x 1.50 m rails. But if you only have one rail of 1.50 m, then it might get tricky. No idea. I just wanted to prevent everyone from getting all enthusiastic about buying Pax without thinking for themselves first. Best regards Michael

Exactly as intended!

Thanks again for picking this up.

Well, I'm glad that the setup is now possible for many.

Ah, so it does work then. The cute darlings at Ikea talked me out of getting the 240 cm wardrobe. We have a room height of 236 cm. Sliding it in from the side only works for me if we rotate the wardrobe out of its niche first, because the wall next to it slopes away by about 30°. Is that possible too? Or can you not rotate such a big carcass once it is standing?

How can these stoppers on the left and right in the rail be removed? They must be taken out first so that the door can be slid in from the side, and then put back in afterwards, right?

Best regards
Johannes

So, I have carpet in the bedroom and that giant thing definitely doesn’t move. I was at a swapping event last month. I swapped so many new clothes that I’ll soon need to extend [this]. Unfortunately, I can’t say how to remove the stoppers either. I didn’t assemble my wardrobe myself back then :)
