Hello Michael,

since last night I finally have the sliding doors, so actually nothing stands in the way of the assembly now.

I hope I get to it this weekend, then I will get back to you.

Oh by the way: yesterday I bought the last white shelves, old color, at Ikea Ludwigsburg. The conversion is almost done. We have even taken down almost all the old Pax :D!

Regards, Bruno

Hello Bruno,

Good luck with your setup!

What cabinet width do you have? And which sliding doors. For me, it's 2 x 150cm with the 75 cm sliding doors.

Best regards
Michael

Hello,
exactly that is also my problem - a ceiling that is too low for the sliding doors and unfortunately also for the carcasses, I mismeasured a bit
I now wanted to have 1cm cut off from my 2.36m carcasses. The question is only whether the sliding doors would then already scrape on the floor. I don't have the sliding doors yet, so I can't measure them. Can someone tell me how tall the sliding doors are and how much space there is between the sliding door and the floor?
I was thinking of first attaching the brackets for the sliding doors at the top on the rail and then screwing the doors on. That should work, right!?
I'm looking forward to Bruno's report =D

Hello you PAx builders with low ceilings...

I have the same problem... (already described one page earlier)
It would be great if Bruno could try out our suggestions, or at least pay attention during assembly if it works the way we imagine.

I'm particularly interested in whether it's possible to first slide the door hinge in from the side and then screw the door onto it.

@Caro0611
if I have it right, you can saw off the wardrobe and still have some clearance to the floor.
However, I don't know how much. That's also something I'm considering, to saw off the wardrobe... but I hope it can be done differently. I really don't feel like carrying the wardrobe to a carpenter to have it sawed off.
