Do you have ideas for designing our floor plan?

I also don’t know why someone now wants to cram a bungalow onto almost 400 sqm when a cozy 1.5-story house would ultimately provide more garden area to use. Because: if I don’t have width, I have to go lengthwise. With a 15-meter building (wasn't it 27 meters in length?), we’d still have 12 meters... There doesn’t seem to be any building window, yet at the back there would only be about 9 meters of terrace + garden. For the builder, there don’t seem to be any options ;)

Sure, a 1.5-story house would probably be easier and you’d have more land, but there are only three of us and I think about 120 sqm should actually be enough. I’m fine with a 9m x 16m garden and a little terrace.

Jan, the ideas you get from these forums are not final floor plan drafts for you and do not replace an architect. They are suggestions that arise or are sought from users in relation to your problem. They are approaches from which you can build very well!

If you do not want to accept the ideas, that is okay. But then you finally have to make your way to an architect, and not ask a GU. Heinz von Heiden and company ultimately want to install their own standard floor plans; if you can present your own proposals (can), they will implement them for you as well, but you must not expect creativity from them (their logistics forbid it anyway, always through the salesperson to the draftsman).

I have already been to an architect, and? I have two designs that I don't like, I can gladly send them to you via PM, but I am not allowed to publish them online.

In any case, he placed the bungalow (0815 floor plan) all the way to the back so that a south-facing terrace was created. Then there was an angled bungalow, where I am still wondering where I should put the TV. Then there was a long bungalow of over 16m so that the terrace is located on the west side. Then he wanted to persuade me with a townhouse, but then I might as well take an 0815 floor plan from the internet.

I want the living room to be south/west and the terrace to the north, but you should still somehow be able to get to the terrace, for example through the kitchen. It doesn't necessarily have to be possible to get to the terrace from the living room. It would be nice from the dining room or kitchen.

Of course, there are 1.5-story houses around 120 sqm, but have you looked at the rooms upstairs with sloping ceilings? Then I would rather build a townhouse, but I want a bungalow and it must be possible to put a functional 120 sqm bungalow on this plot.

If the kitchen is in the north and the living room is in the south, then you just separate the two areas. Here is a sketch (!!!):

You can set up a cozy eat-in kitchen with a large dining area. And at the back, it goes out to the terrace. But then you will probably only hang out in the kitchen because it’s cozier there, I think.
