DIY floor plan ground floor of semi-detached house

The OP primarily did not want 5 m between the sofa and the TV wall, but a cozy 3 to 3.5 m ... so in the row/semi-detached house the ideal room next to the entrance. The OP did not want reflections on the TV ... so ideally the north room.

In our terraced house, the first thing we insisted on with the developer was to swap the kitchen and the living room. So a huge kitchen island in the middle of the large bright room and next to it the long dining table. In the niche next to the entrance area, we place the couch and 3 meters away the TV goes on the wall. We sit there a maximum of half an hour a day. The rest of the time and especially time with friends, we spend in the kitchen and at the dining table.

I played around a bit :D and clarified my sketch again - unfortunately I have to use a program that doesn’t output room sizes or wall dimensions ::( I’m a bit embarrassed, but it’s only about clarifying a sketch anyway ;)

The little man just didn’t want to do what I wanted and kept turning away from me... I’m just glad it didn’t stand in the corner :(

so I think it really looks very homely ypg :) spacious and suitable for inviting guests. the man can then also retreat well to watch football loudly while the lady of the house is having her Tupperware evening at the dining table :cool: including a cooking demonstration from the Tupperware cookbook (devoted Tupperware fanatic :rolleyes:)
