Sorry for the late reply, first of all thank you for your answers! Our supplier is actually a municipal supplier who owns the networks and is responsible for electricity, gas, water, district heating, etc.

I had suspected that in the meantime as well, but nothing in the offer indicates that the subsequent reconnection is included. Honestly, we had already contacted the supplier by phone beforehand to understand how the process works, but they only said they could process anything against filling out the form. The form itself was simple, just the address and then ticking "disconnection" / "new connection" / "reinforcement" / "change" and again specifying exactly what (electricity, water, gas). We thought that after submitting the form someone from the supplier would contact us and look at the situation on site to be able to assess the costs, but the offer looks more like a cobbled together modular system.

What does the offer include now?

After contacting the supplier, they informed us that the offer consists of standard flat rates regardless of the district or the "complexity" of the connections. The offer includes the disconnection of electricity once (it is a rooftop stand that needs to be installed) as well as the disconnection of gas and water (civil engineering, since the street has to be opened at the main connection + installation + meter removal). A new connection will then be at least somewhat cheaper, as gas is no longer needed... Unfortunately, we don’t have many options, but somehow the taste of dependency remains.

Hello, we currently have the same issue but were able to have it separated by another civil engineer.

Gas and water (valve unfortunately can no longer be closed) as it is a public area.

At least this saves quite a bit for us, I was also shocked when the offer was around 10,000, without a new connection. However, the civil engineer needs a certification for the city or the area. Best regards
