The resale value is higher for solid houses. To me, the structure would not be stable enough, at least that's how I imagine it.

Best regards

What exactly is supposed to be not stable about the structure? HRB is installed almost exclusively in Northern Europe, how often do you see in the newspaper that unstable houses constantly collapse there?

How could anyone even set up an HRB if your idea were even remotely realistic?

Our handyman damaged the corner of his house with his large agricultural machine two weeks ago....well, I don't want to imagine how that would have ended with an HRB. Well, it doesn't happen every day.

- no more planning changes during the construction phase (with solid construction you can still make changes during the shell construction phase) - sampling takes place on site with solid construction - sockets are planned on site and not on paper or based on a 3D model - value retention: certainly a matter of debate. For example, I would currently not buy a prefab house that is 20 years old, with a solid house I would have fewer concerns.

So... sockets, light outlets, bathroom details were all finalized on site – the wooden house was already standing. The bathroom planning had already been done beforehand, but individual details were only determined on site. Everything else: only in the finished 'shell construction'.
Regarding the topic of a 20-year-old prefabricated house – what speaks against it? And what would speak for a solid house from 20 years ago? It depends on the details and the maintenance condition in both cases...

Hello,

Yes - it doesn’t get any better by focusing on 2015

I am increasingly asking myself whether you want to build a house or write a thesis about building materials that concerns users?

There are NO advantages and disadvantages within the respective construction systems; only personal preferences! And just as there are personal preferences, there are also people who make mistakes. Mistakes that, for example, can result in moisture damage.

Houses have always been built at all times, from wood, clay, as well as stone, and ALWAYS according to the state of the available knowledge. To say from today’s perspective that it was mega crappy is therefore also dishonest and certainly unfair, because the generations before us didn’t know any better.

Decide based on your preferences which construction system your nameplate should hang on later. Make sure that your requirements for a piece of house are considered in all systems. Then it’s an easy choice; nothing more and nothing less.

Rhenish greetings
