.. then it is sheer mockery when the "average builder" simply claims that a timber-framed house is more expensive than a solid house, although he has no idea about the whole matter

.. this way is exactly the wrong way ... at the beginning is the consideration, "what can I afford to build," "what do I want to have and what type of construction should it be," then planning is done accordingly and this involves a whole lot of different factors that are also location-dependent.

Notice anything, house jellyfish? A claim based on experiences (strange that pretty much everyone here has had this experience) is not a mere claim, but an experience-based statement. Here, I merely wrote from my side what kind of experience was made....and that is a fact, in contrast to your claims. Those are actually just claims in a vacuum. A prefabricated house would be more expensive for US...and that's that.

In the end, what matters is that the decision-makers and payers of a house are usually the same person. If the decision-makers feel like they pay more at HRB for the same performance, then it is the fault of the HRB providers that they sell their product poorly, assuming your so far unproven thesis is correct that HRB should basically be cheaper.

It's nice that you think you can determine what the generally valid procedure is when building a house, but practice apparently looks different.

When one reads such stupidity, one already looks forward to your hopefully upcoming suspension in this forum...
