I think that window frame ventilators are louder than a controlled residential ventilation system, because they are basically holes in the window through which outdoor noises can enter the house, like with an open window. A controlled residential ventilation system does not cause drafts and does not make any noise at normal performance. If you run it at higher power once, you only hear it at the device. Did this architect explain the hygiene problem?

I do think that as a builder you can specify which boards should be used. I find OSB better than MDF or chipboard. How far recycled tofu can be used as a binder in OSB, I don't know – but sometimes you have to draw a line and not expect a house to be built entirely from muesli on its own. Consistency is good, especially and even more so with eco-bio-sustainability, but consistency-ism is an exaggeration everywhere. Approximation instead of dogmatic ideology makes progress.

11ant is right. You can’t build from muesli. On top of that, if you place so much importance on the wall construction, it continues with the furniture. You omit everything in the wall and put in furniture that still smells and releases pollutants after 1 year.

Many salespeople play on fears and prejudices.
You see it here too. Tupper box, thermos flask, mold, therefore [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] dirt trap, [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] is the only right thing, etc.

For example, our solid wood wall is glued with less than 1% glue. Should I worry about the 1% glue or rather about the adhesive that holds the painter’s fleece on the wall or perhaps the paint on the painter’s fleece?

You need an overall concept with your priorities and you stick to it.

I totally agree with both of you. I just wonder, in the case of the wall construction, if only one component does not harmonize or is too dense, does the tendentially more expensive wooden construction even make sense? Thank you again for the feedback, it helps me roughly narrow down where this is going, because you won’t come to a common denominator anyway.

I think it's good when home builders are not completely uncritical consumers - but on the other hand, I also know people who have become perfectly healthy and a hundred years old in the standard-issue houses that the construction company Jupp Schmitz und Sohn used to populate half the village with. Nobody first sent the mortar to the [Labor für Lebensmittelchemie]. Driving and exaggerating, even with the good, moderation is not a mistake in my opinion.
