The offer includes RC2 standard and is therefore owed. Laminated safety glass is also mentioned. The rest is honestly totally irrelevant to me. I don't make a big deal out of windows.

Ask again in a year And only if we also decide on RC2.

We have decided against it.

Upper floor can only be reached via a slope with a 42° incline.
Ground floor main street, street lighting, at the front and to the side a small embankment and a wall over 1 meter high; in addition, there is access to the ATM, which is currently very busy in the dark.
Moreover, we are in a safe area with very few burglaries so far.

I'll join in here.

Without such a "certificate," does one have to fear that a window will be sold as RC2, which in reality is not one?

The company we are aiming at, from which we have an offer, is a company "recommended" by the police, which has such police-mandated training, etc.

Or is that what is meant by this certificate?

...you can simply buy RC2, which gives you a defined performance, or you buy based on RC2, which can be all or nothing.

Genuine RC2 costs more because production and assembly are more complex, and the documentation is also additional effort.

Depending on the provider, the glass must be glued into the frames or sashes; this often means new frames or sashes in case of glass breakage.

If the structural conditions are also met, the coveted plaque is awarded.

RC2 requires:

P4A glazing = laminated safety glass 8mm with four PVB films each 0.38mm
Additional locks according to approval
Lockable handle with drill protection
Glass rebate security or glued glass
Installation according to manufacturer's instructions in sufficiently pressure-resistant masonry

For doors, multiple locking points and hinge-side security are added, possibly core pull protection rosette or round rosette
