I think you are talking past each other. "Bieber" means certified RC 2 and Jochen + Sebastian probably RC1 N. In the latter, the windows only have more mushrooms - the installation is identical to "normal" triple glazing. In the former, it is as "Bieber" describes. With RC 2, the U-value of the windows also "worsens" due to the laminated safety glass and the installation is much more complex.

Why should installation be more difficult with RC2? As far as I know, that only applies to higher classes - but I am happy to be corrected.

We also have [VSG] - and still an overall value of 0.9 and 0.6 in the glass.

Maybe a scan of the installation protocol? Maybe we are really talking past each other... "Certified RC2 according to DIN EN 1627" may not be the same as "window with glass and fittings based on RC2/WK2". But only you can know that (whatever your contract/offer contains).

There is no installation protocol because nothing has been installed yet. As I said, please enlighten me - I don't see anything in the standard regarding your special anchors, etc.

Not even an installation protocol is mandatory...

According to everything I can find about RC2, this ("certified RC2 according to DIN EN") also includes an installation protocol (which of course only exists after installation). I don't want to lecture you ... rather to learn something myself, but I have the feeling that we are talking past each other (see ).

I can read, of course. But we are not talking past each other - I only know certified fittings/profiles and the standard recommends a protocol, but it is not mandatory.

The instruction was meant positively as well - I'm no expert in that.
