Desperate about the 153-degree hinge, how do I manage it?

If 125 degrees works, then 153 degrees will work too. Did you possibly use the mounting (the one on the body) from the 125 degrees or the 125-degree stopper?

So I can't really understand that now. We recently installed 125° and 153° hinges in our kitchen. No new holes had to be drilled and after a small fine adjustment (no more than with the 125° hinges) everything fits perfectly and nothing is left open...... Are you sure the door doesn't hit the drawers?

Hello everyone,

thanks for your information.
The installation of the 125 and 153 should actually be identical.

I was able to identify the cause now.
I can’t believe I didn’t notice it earlier...

I first made the holes 8mm deeper, then 4, then 6, to not land exactly in the same wooden dowel.
At first, I thought it was due to the accuracy of my drilling template, although it was actually supposed to be precise to 1/10.

When I was trying to close the 60x80 door, I was always in front of the cabinet, not inside it, so I didn’t recognize it.
And since I don’t assemble such a cabinet every week.

Then I hung a 40x80 door, and I immediately saw where the problem lies:

The "Clipsdeckel" (I don’t know what the correct term is?),
when I clamp the hinge into the cup hole in the door, then you fold down such a Clipsdeckel, which hits the horizontal edge of the corpus below...
(because I hung the whole thing a few millimeters lower than intended).

Now I have to see how I can fix that.

I will try to saw off the lower piece, where the pin is not yet in.

Regards, Buchi

So, the door is now closed.

Man, man, man, I guess I have just earned the stupidity award of the year for not having found the "mistake" earlier.

Regards, Buchi
