Local but very different: we paid only €4200 for electricity, water, gas, and telecom, including the earthworks that belong to it... Südpfalz

Better to calculate too much than too little when no offers are available yet. Besides, it is quite individual anyway (length of cables, position of connections).

Great!
Nevertheless, TE is a bit naive about it: "depends on the property" I define for him: costs less, "cheaper" also costs and material wants to be paid for at EL as well.

We already paid almost 2000 € for 100 m3 of topsoil removal... with us? or at all? Does it now require a contaminant report per m3 or something...

@TE: Building permit, construction power, water... everything wants to be paid for. Friends also don’t move their tractor for free, because diesel and time are expensive. And then the financial double burden, because friends don’t have the same schedule as you...
It would be nice if you manage with your planning, but you have to calculate more.

Of course I will ask about that beforehand. Sure. So you really have a ballpark figure.
But as I said, everything is directly on the street and if anything, 3-5 meters would have to be done. No more.
And it should be possible, since you can run the things (electricity/water etc.) centrally between 2 semi-detached houses. I am not an expert on that.

As I said, things like topsoil etc. we’ll get rid of here for free. We get trucks for a few euros. I hardly worry about something like that. We basically have contacts everywhere. It really only comes down to the costs from the municipality/city/district etc.

As I said, I will also do quite a bit myself with Danwood.
Example: Danwood. Carpet in the hallway. If you take it out, you get 20 € per sqm. Or it gets cheaper.
At about 50 sqm that would be almost 1000.00 €. For about 800 € I get super laminate flooring from Classen in
country house style. I’ll lay it myself. So it’s give and take. Possibly additional impact sound insulation.

A good friend of ours is a gas/water (plumber)... so he could handle the sanitary fixtures.
Or he can also get them as equity. Grohe, Keramag etc. and so on...

Surely there will be items that I haven’t thought of yet. No question. But I want to put the house together from every LEGO piece myself. Partly take out the floor > do it myself and for that get another staircase, for example.

Painting work etc. also myself. In return, for example, better shower or tub or other extras.
But you can really only see that at the end when you’ve had an appointment with the advisor and have it in black and white!

Most houses are probably located 3-5 meters from the street, yet the house connections cost a ton of money.

Even if there are two semi-detached houses, both need separate connections. You can lay the cables in a common trench, but this trench then has to be wider or deeper. So in my opinion, you really can't save money there.

But I'm not an expert either.

What you should be aware of with all the DIY work is the time required and the organization. This can quickly lead to a longer double burden than with a turnkey new build. And there probably won't be any free time left.

Yes, I am aware of the time aspect. But it has to be. And I have no problem with it. I have already helped with something like this twice. Once for over 6 months..... But this time it's mine and not someone else's. I have no problem with that. For example, finishing the living room downstairs. When that's done, continue with the dining room. Step by step. And laminate flooring doesn't take that long either.
Just like everything with painting, etc..-)

Well, we’ll see. And with a crate of beer and something on the grill, you can work wonders!
Trench wide and deep, no problem, all doable. Of course, everyone needs their own connection. Although, I also like to hook everything up at the neighbor's place – my brother-in-law will appreciate that. .-D
