The commissioning is preferably set (on paper) in the new year, as the remuneration is guaranteed for 20 years plus the current one.

The feed-in fully finances the system (if the manufacturing costs are not exorbitant), and self-consumption is referred to as the cherry on top.

Delivery and installation usually take place simultaneously. I would also be a bit cautious with prepayment.

For us, before Corona, the invoice came, I believe, 3 or 4 months later.

The previously mentioned €5k for installation is also quite a lot, considering the scaffolding is already in place anyway. For us, the system was completely installed, connected, and commissioned by an installer with an apprentice in 1.5 days (28 modules, gable roof). Documentation, applications, and completed registration forms came from the office. A larger electrician was on site. We also receive a free monthly report listing all systems from the electrician.

Well, I suspect the calculation is on the edge. For now, it is still like that. We still get 9,something cents. Next year, 2022, it will be correspondingly less, electricity prices will rise, costs for systems possibly too, if demand increases due to a potential obligation on new buildings.

No, actually everyone agrees. The feed-in tariff finances the system (but it is becoming tight nowadays). With every kWh consumed by oneself, it becomes even more economical, which is exactly what wrote.

I had also thought about at least proposing that, but I do not expect him to agree. And even if he does, delivery to an uninhabited building plot is rather suboptimal...

I spoke with my banker, who said that it does happen... Difficult. I would rather not unjustly distrust the solar installer :(

Thanks for your opinions!
