I think he mentioned something like that... the system would probably be finished at the end of December if everything beforehand goes well.

Hmm, I can't quite agree. My system, 6.25 kWp east/west, generates 50% of my annual consumption... that's also a significant part of refinancing the system... if it continues like this, I will be at break-even after 7 years at the latest and only make money from then on :)

I just followed up with Clensolar. He (salesperson) said it is due to the increased material prices. That his suppliers have simply raised the prices a lot. However, he still considers himself very competitive.

I believe that based on my experience with those guys too. I'm glad I signed last December :D

Ultimately, it does not matter what refinances the system. The feed-in tariff is an income, self-consumption is a saving. Per kilowatt-hour, the income is now significantly lower than the saving. Therefore, every kilowatt-hour used by oneself is financially much more attractive for people who are now building a system than every kilowatt-hour fed in. For registration in July 2021, there is 7.47 ct/kWh. Those who buy cheaply pay around 20 ct net/kWh for their electricity. The ratio changes from month to month – you have to look a bit at how "historical" a post is or from which situation it was made.

Hmm, I don't know. Then the profitability of the investment would increase if I increase my consumption. Mathematically that is true, but to me amortization means something different.
