Costs can also be kept down well if the interior fittings are designed very sparingly - which most home builders do not do. Like with weddings and the first child, the desire for perfection and quality is sometimes very strong. And here 50 euros more, there 100, but the kitchen with the better fronts and more drawers than doors,... If you are firm there, then the 2700,- can work out.

Perfection is a big issue, also for us. However, we try to apply perfection in terms of cost reduction.

Is it just about the money? I would focus on the floor plan. ;) Please stay on the nonexistent carpet. If you can now explain to me what is clever about this square open space,….

The "money" is indeed a significant factor. We keep working on the floor plan, don’t worry. Maybe paying a bit of attention to the tone, towards everyone else, would also be appropriate ;)

Staggered parking is not expensive - very down to earth. What I find clever are the small traffic areas and that rooms with pleasant dimensions result from the small space. The all-purpose room is the "weakest" room that I consider usable but would furnish differently - especially if the pantry is removed. If the residents are as disinterested in TV as I am, the classic orientation toward a screen is no longer necessary. Instead of wall-mounting a flat screen, a freestanding device that looks good from both sides could be introduced, for example a Samsung Serif. A table-bench combination is one option, and I would also rethink the sofa seating arrangement.

Have you actually noticed that your architect is "making a fool" of you and that you only have 115sqm of living space? Add up your rooms. I think I did not miscalculate. The rascal includes the terrace at 50% as is done in apartment construction (I was already wondering why it says 1/2 there). I don’t know how you feel about that, but you are being led to believe you have 10sqm more living space than you actually have, but you believe you have it.
