Cost estimation in current times

I find the floor plan quite good and I would keep the office as well. I'm not yet satisfied with the TV and the sofa, but maybe you just don't watch TV :) You would have to try around to see how to rearrange the ground floor differently, but having the stairs right in the middle of the house prevents nicer L-shaped variants for the open space somewhat.

According to common calculations, I also don't think it costs 3000€/m². But if you include the carport, incidental building costs, etc., the number will end up over 3000€/m². Therefore, don't focus too much on a single number like that; it's better to clearly break down the estimated costs.

Or to put it another way, would our budget of €380,000 be sufficient?

Why 2 vehicles side by side? That doesn't work. Unless you stay in the car. :D

Clever floor plan, the 125 sqm are well utilized. There are always compromises, but they’re not a problem if you consciously decide what you’re getting into. Life satisfaction is not measured by perfection. If the architecture supports your way of life, a few ergonomically less optimal features aren’t that important.

This is a good first approximation.

Either you park slightly offset in practice or you have a parking assist that you operate from outside with your phone or key.

Even with 3000€ per sqm, at 125 sqm you stay within a range of 380K€ just for the house (without additional construction costs, exterior work...)

Thanks for the compliments :) I secretly hope that with the budget of €380,000.00 we can also cover incidental construction costs and partially the outdoor facilities.
We will do some things ourselves (e.g. partial painting work indoors).
