I can neither endure the stomping/ shouting/ fighting, etc. from the neighbors anymore, nor is the space sufficient for me. Especially since the little one is here. ... the damn animals do other things to the car which is why I personally no longer buy an "expensive" car.
Well, I have an appointment at the bank next week, I’m curious what will come of it. I will keep you updated!
Maybe your house will not be so expensive after all, if it is initially just about solving the difficulties you mentioned above.
- Perhaps you could build a gable roof house and convert the attic at a later time. Then you will also find out whether you really need two floors, or if one floor might still be comfortable enough for you. You would then get rid of the previous neighbors and also have more space with a garden.
- Maybe you would like to buy a house that is already designed for an extension or where an extension has been considered. So not to “patch on” something afterward, but to decide right away on a house that allows an extension from the same house manufacturer, but does not look unfinished without the extension. I have seen attractive models for that.
- Regarding the garage, you can first try out whether there is also a marten problem in the new area. Otherwise, if a garage is absolutely needed because of the martens, there is also the possibility of paying it off in installments at 0.00% interest. Yes, you will have to pay for it, but in small installments it might be less burdensome than assuming a larger loan amount.
I wish you all the best for your bank appointment and look forward to your update. Be brave. ;-)
