and the - independent, own - opinion of the man would also be useful. Then there is also the newcomer from the ex . . .

He is reading along here - since he doesn't correct anything, we probably share the same opinion. But that doesn't contribute anything to the financing topic  Why people can't stay factual in a forum and so many get personal will probably never be clear to me. I'm not supposed to interfere in my husband's affairs, but complete strangers who think they can judge us based on a thread stick their noses so deep into our family matters - find the mistake.

Once again: This is supposed to be about financing matters. This is a house-building forum. For family matters, the www surely offers other sites.

The financing methods were shown, continue paying and [Ex and children live cheaply in the house], or drop it and [Ex and children end up on the street]. The sale of the single-family house brings too little money for the peaceful life of the Ex.

The only one here who is not objective is you.
The entire thread is full of assumptions and allegations. Yet you want neutral answers...
As already said: one can wait until the ultimatum. But one can also "accuse of lying" and let it be discussed. That alone is happening here.

: Can't you post what you need to sign here anonymized? Then we can quickly get back to the matter at hand. If the content is okay, then yes, sign it directly so that the issue can be closed. A tight to outright cheeky deadline is a minor inconvenience.

Hey, you are actually right, but you yourself brought in the behavior of the ex here. So the question about independent other opinions is indeed legitimate. Various possibilities have been suggested to you. Regards Olli
