That could be done, but in return the man still gets his shares in a multi-family house transferred to him. Although I believe it was never mentioned how much anything is worth, I assume that financially it is better for the man to play along here in order to get the multi-family house.

The transfers are regulated by the court, therefore enforceable.

And still, you first have to get it enforced. It takes a long time and possibly costs a lot of money.

Well, for whatever reason you take the perspective of the ex-wife and read criticisms where there are none. I only see the man who, for reasons unknown to me, partly finances the life of the ex-wife. The man reacted wrongly at some point. When you separate, you also have to separate finances and assets. This includes selling the house or the immediate or possibly timely release from the loan upon separation. If you cannot be paid out, then it's back to selling. I have been happily together with my wife for 15 years (married for 13) and we have already talked about this. The house will have to be sold despite the children. No one will enrich themselves at the expense of the other or partly finance the other's life.
