What on earth is so bad about the last post. I would just run the ex straight into the wall. It wouldn't be my problem that she doesn't have the financial means to keep a house. Lots of others don't either. Let the refinancing fall through, sell the house, ideally even come out a few thousand euros ahead, and that's it. What kind of behavior is it to wrest a signature from someone like that?

Now you are being unfair! Original signatures cannot be printed. This is probably not new - she could have spared that remark. Not only in times of Corona do you not always have the opportunity to enter a public building without an appointment.

If you have five years to set up financing, you cannot submit documents a week before the deadline, after having milked the cow to the bone, cheated and lied for years, and expect someone to still have trust and blindly sign documents that concern more than just a toaster.

You know, I don't lie to or cheat on my husband, I don't speak badly about him in front of our children, I don't scam spousal support by letting his youngest call my new partner "dad" so it doesn't show - all good ;) The "jabs" are unfortunately the nicest thing there is to say. "You reap what you sow." And aside from all that: you don't have to have a beer with anyone here - it's supposed to be about knowledge and exchange.

I think you can't say it like that. We also recently signed our contract – the construction financing continued quite normally at the bank. The only difference was perhaps that we were picked up at the entrance to avoid the queue. You can also easily hand over documents at the reception or put them in the mailbox. As far as I understand, it is only about someone reviewing it again at the beginning of the week. If that is a problem, I would also be highly alert.
