If you are building, then you have to secure yourself. Probably disability insurance, private retirement provision, and RLV are the first that come to mind.

This is included in additional costs. From experience, we were told that €3.5 per sqm is a good benchmark for this. We do not want to take out RLV. However, we will actually take out BU.

Insurance like disability insurance (BU) and capital repayment insurance (RLV) are not part of the additional costs. In my opinion, RLV is more important than BU. And it also costs less.
