Dirt accumulates in corners, and larger size usually also offers a fair chance to arrange the rooms with fewer nooks and crannies and thus fewer corners. What takes time when cleaning is turning the broom where there is hardly any turning radius for it.

What good does it do me, if the robot vacuum cleaner vents its frustration :-(

We will not change much about the general floor plan anymore. Thank you for the very valuable suggestions. Currently, I am working on the bathroom. This is how it should look. Including a sauna with a large glass surface (appearance). However, the shower will have a very small glass surface (cleaning).

Looks good! But you definitely need a door for the shower.

Also, pay attention to the space requirements of the drawn-in cabinets on the upper floor. With your walk-in closet, the 60cm deep cabinets won't work.
There will be plaster on the walls, and then the cabinet will stand in the window.

.... thanks, that's correct. The 60cm niches in all rooms still need a few centimeters of clearance. At the moment, it looks like it fits. Today we are with our preferred construction company again. I'm curious to see if we will reach a conclusion.

I like it and it looks practical. Only the arrangement in the shower bathroom on the ground floor needs to be adjusted, because this way you cannot get into the shower. I don't like the fireplace that much either, but that's a matter of taste. You also need to think about spark protection here, because if you place a glass plate there, you will have a tripping hazard when you go to the terrace door.

Why shouldn't one come into the shower like that? I would rather put up a wall instead of the glass panel, that would be too much cleaning effort for me.

Best regards
Sabine
