Hello,
I ordered a stove cabinet for a standard stove with my Ikea Metod kitchen. At what height should the shelf be installed once the carcass is finished, on which the stove will then stand?
I have 4 types of hinges. I was able to identify one for the wall cabinets where the doors open upwards.
Then I have a 2-meter tall cabinet with a continuous door with 4 hinges. For this, I used 125-degree hinges because I had exactly 4 of those. Although I don’t understand that since the cabinet is placed against a wall on the left. Then I have 6 95-degree hinges and 4 153-degree hinges, the latter of which look very bulky. I thought the 4 153-degree hinges were for the fridge/freezer combination since they are designed so sturdily and the fridge door has to open further so that you can also pull out the drawers with the door open. Is that correct? The fridge/freezer cabinet has a small storage compartment at the top. Does this cabinet then get 3 doors? The corner cabinet with the carousel somehow still gets a small panel but I don’t know how that should fit with the door? Because the sink cabinet is just around the corner, actually with pull-out drawers. To the left, the corner cabinet with the carousel, to the right in an L-shape the sink cabinet with drawers. I don’t know how that should work with 2 doors around the corner and a panel exactly in the corner. I have the kitchen in maple but also white lacquered panels. I could go on, but I just can’t make progress with the kitchen.
Does anyone have some tips?????

Hello,

Let's start from the beginning: the appropriate hole pattern for the board under the stove is stated in the instructions for the board:

Hello,

thanks for the tips.

But I have to add something again. I have measured the width of the kitchen very precisely, from wall to wall. I gave the measurement to the kitchen consultant at Ikea Braunschweig. That’s how we planned it. Now I have looked through the most important assembly instructions online again. On the left, the pot cabinet is supposed to stand. Now I have seen that there is an additional spacer board on the outside, to which the next cabinet is then attached on the right. But when I attach this board, the overall dimension of the kitchen no longer fits against the wall. The board is about 7 or 8 cm wide and as high as the cabinet. If I leave it out, the kitchen fits again. Do I have to attach it? Will the doors still open then? Or did the kitchen planner at Ikea make a mistake and not consider this spacer? Is it possible to narrow the board in width a bit?

As I said, I gave the correct width measurement to the consultant? Damn, it just doesn’t end.

Hello, please structure your questions and use paragraphs. List your cabinets one below the other, with equipment (shelves, internal drawers, etc.), then you can also specify which hinges are needed for which cabinet. The spacer board is a fitting strip that must be adjusted in width. You need some distance from the wall to be able to properly open doors and drawers. If you do not install it and only leave sufficient space, you will end up with a dirty corner.

I have the kitchen arranged on 2 sides. When looking into the kitchen, there is a small row on the left and a long row on the right in a small L shape. Now, if I stand in front of the right side, at the left end is the pot cabinet with the turntables that form the L. Then the filler strip should be attached and then the first cabinet to the right. I can understand a filler strip towards the wall. But there is also one on the cabinet. Which hinges do I need to use there and can I shorten this filler strip?

The 125° hinges are sufficient for the cabinet. I see no point in a spacer strip on the right between the corner cabinet and the adjacent cabinet. A spacer strip is attached to the corner cabinet towards the perpendicular cabinet, so that its doors or drawers can be fully opened. The necessary width of the spacer strip therefore depends on the position and size of the handles as well as the actual angle between the two lines.
