Your plan is nonsense, how do you want to drill through the precast concrete slab later? If with KG pipe, then you need 1x 125 slip coupling, 2x covers, 1x Fermacell board. A hole is drilled (chiseled) in the precast concrete slab, formwork is set from below and the box is positioned and fixed from below through the formwork with screws.

The filigree ceiling can be drilled wonderfully, you don't have to go to such great lengths with chiseling, Fermacell, etc.

I would also try to damage the smooth ceiling as little as possible... in other words, definitely don’t chisel 125mm holes and then fill them again... the smaller the hole the better...

Simply drill a small hole beforehand where the box is located and later take a suitable hole saw at the final position and drill the hole...

But as has often been said, invest a few euros for the concrete boxes from the factory... that would be the best way...

2.) Have reasonable boxes installed by the ceiling installer. The approximately 30 euro surcharge for a proper box would definitely be worth it to me. In addition, the parts are then installed exactly according to the specifications by the factory. My recessed lights had a hole size of 86mm. With 100mm covers and 5cm height, there isn’t much room to maneuver. I would also question the height regarding heat development.

Do you mean 30 € just for the boxes or including empty conduits and cables? Because I am unfortunately hearing different numbers from my general contractor, more in the range of 60-80 €.

So I paid about 30 euros net per can. For the electrical installation, we had a flat rate. They didn't mind a few empty conduits and cables.
