Well, nothing has changed in the fixed price.

But I would have paid for it too. The spots look cool and I hate the dangling lamps. But everyone is different.

Cheers, torsan

We also have 59. Of those, 35 are above in the drywall ceiling. There it is practically no additional effort

I also never said that my solution is the best, only that if you do it with KG pipes, then please do it properly. With my solution, I saved around €700-800, but I also own a core drilling machine. The structural engineer also calculated the ceiling for ventilation ducts, spotlights, and electrical cables. From below, you can't see the boxes either; the ceiling was plastered and painted twice. I would also recommend having the boxes installed at the factory if you don't have the right tools.

Ah yes... but the following sentence suggests exactly that... and the average home builder will follow your suggestion and then have unnecessary headaches afterwards...

It is by no means correct to chisel up and perforate the new, smooth precast ceiling over a large area...

So either have sockets installed beforehand or keep the holes as small as possible, but please no 125mm ones... and definitely no chiseling!

Then explain to me the difference between a 70mm and 125mm hole in the ceiling when you cut through rebar. And the area around the stairs ([Diele EG]) has really a lot of iron in it.
