Thanks to both of you, I'll take your basic idea into [Roomsketcher] and experiment with it. We had really assumed for weeks that we would place the house to the west to take advantage of the "unobstructed" view. But if we place it to the east, of course, we get the wonderful evening sun fully. Just for this line of thought, many thanks in advance. Now it's about drawing the rooms. :-)

we received a call today and were offered another plot of land. Could you give me your opinion on whether this might be even more sensible.
Size again around 1400m², length 42m width 33m, (this is an "old" overview plan, the given values are not accurate).
To the north of the potential plot, from the left, there is a small fire station with an emergency medical vehicle (no siren sounding during an alarm), next to it a small bungalow, then another bungalow.
No building information to the east of the plot yet.
To the south and west only meadow!

Where would you place a bungalow on the marked plot, again completely in the northeast or for economic reasons northwest (development costs)

Thanks

Only highlights with you. Yes, I would place the house as far east as possible next to the parking spaces. Garage as edge development farthest east and driveway in the southeast. Terrace in the west.

In principle, a bungalow is the most uneconomical type of house.

You mean utility connections. Those are based on length. 15 meters are usually included.
Development costs depend on the size of the plot.

Honestly, that's too little information for me. The entire surroundings would be preferable to know. In addition, most will probably take advantage of the two-story option.
