Me neither
I think a dressing room is simply an “extra room” for clothes, to keep the bedroom free of piles of fabric and stuff.
The walk-in closet has the same disadvantage as a wardrobe: it disturbs the sleeper. That’s why either a small foyer with two separate doors or cleverly plan the dressing room in front of it.

That was only a first draft, which certainly needs changes. Scanhaus Marlow Marlow cannot fulfill our wish for the air space, and their price shows that prefabricated houses are not cheaper than solid construction, on the contrary.

Unfortunately, the architect has made no changes, so now it is up to us again. With him, the living area is 125 m².

Whether a dressing room serves as a passage room is probably a matter of taste. A passage room, no matter in which form, is simply to be avoided. However, if it cannot be avoided due to lack of space, then you just have to reorganize.

No, a walk-through room is not always to be avoided. If the dressing room, among other things, is intended to allow one person to get ready without waking the other, it is logical to plan the dressing room as a walk-through room to the bedroom (or, for that matter, as a captive room of the bathroom). If it is not, you have a walk-in closet. Lots of space, but no additional benefit.

You are planning your bedroom as a passage room!

That has nothing to do with taste, only with consideration.
If we had our dressing room at the back, meaning the bedroom as a passage room, as you are planning, we would no longer be married

Therefore, we planned the passage to the bathroom so that you don't have to go through the bedroom again. But certainly impractical if the other person is already asleep...

An additional effect that a walk-in closet as a passage room offers is that you don’t have to use a hallway to get dressed. So, for example, when guests are around, my husband likes to go from bed to shower in his underwear in the morning and then naked to the wardrobe; he doesn’t pick out his clothes beforehand and probably won’t change that, which is why we plan it so that he can do all this in the privacy of the bedroom-dressing room-bathroom area without guests’ eyes. The access is then through the walk-in closet to both other rooms, so you also don’t have to close two doors if you want peace in the bathroom.
