What kind of wisdom is that?

Link: Tante Gurgel + saving energy in the household + energy + building + modernizing .....

I made no distinction between air leakage and other leakages. Keyword: energy-efficient renovation

Hello,

Everyone reads what they want to understand

Sorry, I don’t understand .... ground floor + upper floor + converted attic and then 140 sqm floor area?

Counter-question: what do people do who currently cannot afford a basement? Isn’t it more the case that a sensible room layout should be the "A" and "O" of any planning?

Agreed.

Agreed once again.

This statement is actually almost correct – at least based on the results from my side job

Hello,

This link is a veiled advertisement; so I would not overvalue it in your place.

Besides, your statement "in the 70s all houses were leaky" is not generally true, as it suggests that a certain air exchange would have been harmful (with regard to building construction). That is definitely not the case! When I look at the energy saving ordinance today, for example, I much preferred the way windows were installed back then; there was less moisture damage. Today - to achieve the same result - a ventilation system has to be installed. So the question arises, what was more reasonable - from a construction point of view.

Rhenish greetings

Of course you are right. The link was the first one that appeared when you enter house from the 70s. I myself am not at all in favor of a hermetically sealed building envelope, apart from that. But most energy renovations are precisely on houses from that period.

Hello,

Yes, that is correct. It primarily refers to the aspect of insulation, windows + roof.. Today's renovators, however, pay more attention than five years ago to the combination of windows and insulation; after all, a good start
