Since the OP replied like that, I think the shell is up and a change is no longer possible….and we have the 42cm, which makes zero difference compared to the 36cm in sound insulation … so if anything, always use with filling.You don't need insulation on the outside. If you still want to do something, then use 42cm exterior walls or 36.5 with filling inside. We also have ordinary Poroton bricks without filling and the sound insulation is not particularly great but also not so bad that you always perceive it negatively. For interior walls, as already mentioned, don't use 11cm bricks. I would now also go for 17cm or sand-lime bricks. Otherwise, I find that Poroton is a good compromise between sound insulation and thermal insulation. Ask about your ventilation concept. I guess window frame ventilators. We also have them in combination with exhaust fans in the wet rooms/utility room. All in all acceptable for a residential area.
