Building stair railing out of Ytong blocks - Does it hold?

Works with drywall as well. Profiles were screwed from the side into the concrete stairs. The gypsum board was then filled, sanded, and covered with fine plaster.
And yes, it is brutally prone to dirt. That’s why oak will be placed on top in the coming days.

Is it then built directly onto the staircase or next to it?

..because in our case the stairwell is very narrow and I would actually like the side wall to serve as a kind of railing.. meaning not a continuous wall down the middle going upwards.

Did you realize the stairs as shown in the pictures or did you find the pictures on the Internet?
I would also like to do something similar.
I am curious how you attached the stair posts to the wall?
