Then I would reconsider the construction. Why not make the garage 50 cm wider and use the carport as a passageway and covered bicycle parking? The second car usually does not have 4 doors, but 2 large ones in front, then it gets really tight.

I would also rather make the carport wider if space is available. Because it is also used as a path towards the garden.

. I forgot to mention that. Unfortunately, it’s not possible :( Two parking spaces are required. The space in front of the garage does not count. Therefore, we have already reached the minimum size for the carport. Less is unfortunately not possible.

For the bathroom discussion please use the other post. Duplicate and parallel discussions are misleading

Since it didn’t work earlier, here it is again. I would first question the garage regarding the widths. How about a fitted carport? It offers more space and can possibly be clad. Regarding the parking space in front of the garage, I can hardly believe that it doesn’t count. That would mean you HAVE to build a garage. I would take another close look at that.

Why no double carport? You are planning a garden house and have a basement – so you don’t need a garage?!

Best regards
