I think Milo3 meant that you shouldn't let yourselves be unsettled by your framework conditions regarding the feasibility of the project.

But there are a few risks and uncertainties that you should check and also verify where savings potentials exist. I mean, in the end, you already have a buffer if it should come to that. By restricting yourselves or having the outdoor facilities come later.

You have 3000,- € per m² + 110,000 for the basement, right?

Since I cannot reliably expect premiums, bonuses, or special payments, I do not include them. Thus, for ME the project with the mentioned figures would be clearly too high.

Especially in sales, things can quickly go in either direction...

Do you want to have children? Will an income be lost at some point? Can you support the house with one income for a year? These would still be topics to be checked off.

In most industries, I would absolutely agree with you, but in my company, the bonus has always worked out over the last 15 years.

We already have 2 children, our planning is complete. I started working again immediately after parental leave... we can pay for 1 year, but it will get really tight for us then... but I guess that's the case for almost everyone.
