I want to say a couple of things about this:

1. The income and equity are not enough for the project.

2. Throw the super great life wisdom from this forum out the window. It is your life. You can spend it however you want. You have already achieved something. You have finished school and training, have a secure job, and are continuing your education. You know what you want, inquire, and question "facts." That’s the right approach. In my personal opinion, achieving something in the form of possessions or property is WORTHLESS. Freedom and leisure time are luxury goods nowadays. When I see how some make saving a life mission, I sincerely hope that they can someday actually spend it. Mentally and physically.

Conclusion: If you really want it, then do it. It is not financially wise. But you are adults and therefore entitled to make unwise decisions.

I also find it somewhat shocking what some participants dare to say about you and your life.

My life wouldn't be it either. My hobby takes 15-25 hours per week.
Nevertheless, I would never take it upon myself to claim that my life is more worth living than yours.

NEVERTHELESS: I also think you would take too much flexibility if you go through with this very tight thing like that.
Take a few more years, you are still very young. Save equity and become clear about what you want when (children, etc.).

Our decision to build also came relatively early at 26 (he) and 23 (she) years. But then we calmly started to think and plan. That time was fun and we accumulated almost six-figure equity on the side because we had a goal in mind and it was therefore easy. Three years later we started and 14 months later we moved in (put in a lot of personal effort).

Yes, really frightening, these words of wisdom that some take here

That is exactly what a forum is for!

Why not just go to study properly, if the distance learning hardly costs anything it won't be worth it. Both of you should go study now and move into a shared flat, with the salaries it should work out. Additionally, a recession is currently looming, especially in the automotive industry.

For security, both of you study teaching (secondary school or elementary schools) or computer science/electrical engineering then it will work out.

Sorry, but how do you come to that here?
You write things like "no desire for life," "no interest," "you’ll soon get on each other’s nerves," "achieved nothing in life"

Those are assumptions that you make.
I merely told how we did it and how I would do it in the OP’s place.

Actually, I appreciate your opinion here in the forum, dear . But this here in this thread is, in my opinion, quite borderline.

A forum, certainly. Not this one. This one is about building and financing. Not about life advice.
