The maintenance of a single-family house costs on average 400€ per month: property tax, residential building insurance, electricity, water, waste, and more!

Everyone should live as they want, but something smells seriously fishy here.

Then deduct the additional burden from the house from your €1000 savings rate. Plus the reserve of €250, then your savings rate is at €0. Then you can't even afford a new TV, dryer, stove, washing machine. Living hand to mouth. Once children come, it's game over anyway.

Current rent for 2 apartments is €1250. We save €1000 per month. Let’s assume the loan is at €1500. Then instead of saving €1000, we only save €750. Minus your reserve. There’s still money left over, right?

Really strange financing threads that have been piling up in the last few days. All pushed to the limit to madness.

My wife and I have also been together for over 10 years. We were about the same age as you when we moved in together. Therefore, I believe that owning a house together at your age makes life pretty boring. It’s better to look for a condominium and build equity with it. This is also easier to sell if perspectives change.
